Lessons created for a virtual teaching collaboration with Bellefonte and Park Forrest middle schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students connected art making to current issues by focusing on the idea of presence and the reliance on others to create a final outcome.

Shadow Play: Woskob 'First Friday' Community Event (2020)

'Shadow Play' involves the exploration of light and shadows through performative art creations. This lesson was implemented for an all-age community event at the Woskob Gallery in State College, PA, but can also be utilized in other environments such as the art classroom. 

Environmental Mashup (2020)

"Environmental Mashup" is a photoshop art lesson that has students create environmental activism art using remix and mashup techniques.

Penn State Craft Center Summer Art Camps (2020)

Two lesson plans created to teach summer art camps (canceled due to COVID-19). 'Earth and Art' revolves around sustainable mediums and environmental art making. The drawing and painting camp introduces students to a wide array of mediums while allowing them to explore their artistic identity.  

'Consumer Boom' Webquest: 3-D printing (2019)

'Consumer Boom' is a 3-D printing web-quest that was created for 8th grade digital arts students. The art lesson connects to the implications of consumeristic choices.
